Is This Too Over The Top For A Wedding?
I am thinking the whole look being the same color...is this too much? I was going to add the rosettes to the sleeve detail...it's a necklace...but, I was going to sew it on...let me know your honest thoughts...I haven't received the dress yet...hmmmm...or are they two different colors??? I guess I will see once it gets here...I am crossing my fingers....I think it is the shot from my iPhone that is altering the color....

they look like different colors but I LOVE both. I would wear different shoes. but I have always been a bridesmade so I never get to wear anything I want LOL
Yes, they look like completely different colors! The dress is gorgeous; however, I do not like the shoes with it. They appear to be a little too casual for the dress. The satiny fabric with bows does not make it a dressy shoe. They are quite inappropriate for this dress.
Love the dress, not so sure at all about the shoes, and I love almost all shoes!
I like the look. Especially if this is for the Barnett wedding since its somewhere between cocktai and dressy. I.e. Garden wedding and ballroom reception. I think its fun and gives the dress a casual undertone, especially if you added some funky jewelry.
I say go for it! Make your own rules!
I LOVE that dress! The shoes, eh. They are cute, but I don't know if they would do justice to that dress. -Jen Hardy
