Weekly Music Inspiration: Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
I've decided to share a music video every week because I feel like no matter what I do, music is always a HUGE inspiration for me. I don't watch videos as much as I used to...but, it will be exciting to see how the video is styled and see if it is what I imagined it to be.
I'm starting with a song called, "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros that I heard for the first time on my trip to Portland. It seemed very 70's to me and really seemed like a signature song for my summer 70's wardrobe. Then, I see the video and it's exactly what I imagined.
Hope this inspires. I'd love to hear what you think after you hear and see the music videos, so please share.

Spotted: Tiered Maxi Dress
I saw this dress on the Today Show and was curious...then, I saw a similar dress on the Calypso St. Barths email and knew I wasn't going to be paying $450...so, I figured let's see how much the Kohls version is and it's on sale for $36! Thoughts???

My new favorite color: Chartreuse
I can't pinpoint the exact description of this color...it looks bright yellow, but there is a feeling of lime green accents to this yellow. It's interesting and that is why I LOVE it! I still can't say the color correctly, but here is how to pronounce it here. I like the color with lavender, tan, and gray...pretty much all of the neutrals.

The Spiegel email that caught my attention
I don't check my Spiegel emails everyday...or really visit the site that much. But, when I read that a celeb stylist was doing something with the brand my interest was peaked and I decided to check it out. I actually liked four of the items (the necklace, the gray jacket, gray shoes and white handbag:) in the email blast and then noticed that the brand offers a magazine on their site too. The magazine didn't really do much for me honestly...I doubt I'll be checking every week or anything...but, I think they have some good pieces if you search which like almost anywhere you shop...so, why not? Plus, if you sign up for email updates you get 15% off.
