I was reading the weekly Net-a-Porter mag this morning and had to share this great DIY project I spotted! Net-a-Porter is declaring that shopping totes are the must-have bag now, and one of the designs was by LANVIN and looked like the perfect weekend DIY project I'm going to try. While searching on Polyvore I found a Rebecca Minkoff cheaper version for less than $50 that I had to share as well for those of you not interested in a DIY project:)
Here is what you'll need:
Tote w/ leather straps (I searched everywhere and really couldn't find a budget friendly tote with leather straps. I say either buy a cheapy canvas tote and add some leather straps...makes it even more DIY...or check out etsy for some spendy version that are really cute:)
super glue or fabric glue
large rhinestones

I love this bag...such a classic shape...you could use this for a very long time.
This is terrible...but, I am already planning my attack...I am going to wait till this goes on sale and buy two...why, might you ask??? Well, one to wear as is and add some new buttons and a fab lining and the next, to make into a dress like Joe Zee recommends to do in this months ELLE:) Genius!
I need this belt right now! For $12 and looking so perfect, this is a must-have for me!
Fun neckline...makes a basic cardigan updated and keeps your neck warm while doing it:)
This is AMAZING! I think I will just need everything in this blog actually:)
I love the neckline on this and the color is perfect.
This is a great way to update your tee drawers...keep it from being to basic and still be oh so comfy!

This is how Michael Kors styles the cigarette pant on his line. I won't even say how much his cost because of course they can't compete with $9!
