How I was inspired by Net-a-Porter's Travel selections to create my travel look

My look is the one on the left. I saw it and it screamed moi:) But, I of course had to create with what I had at home:) So, here's what I did:
Pants: American Apparel Harem Leggings
Poncho: Walmart Poncho-I didn't see anymore like this today at the store...
What I added: a gray tank-from Forever 21, Racer Back...
The comfy Ballet flats: Me Too's from Stems a Shoe Boutique
The Bag: Isaac Mizrahi for Liz Claiborne, I got it when prices dropped. So worth the cash. I have to make sure I can carry my mags on the flight:)
The funky scarf: I got lucky! I am an Alpha Shopper for LUCKY magazine and I was sent a LOFT Ann Taylor package to review and it included an AMAZING new scarf!:)

Boots, Boots, Boots

I just wore a pair of my most fave shoes today that look soooooooo Chanel-esque that I am swimming in ideas of what to wear them with!  

Plus, I am getting my VERY FIRST pair of UGGS this week that are worth the wait!  They have a subtle paisley design that is embossed on the shoe that you can barely tell is there...so it is not gaudy by any means....I am soo in LOVE!

A.  For shoes, it is all about the cut-off styles and peep toes.  They give just a little bit of toe, and a whole lot of sex appeal.  They still work perfect for summer shoes because there is a little skin showing.

For casual wear during the summer keep it easy and just slip into the fabulous cotton dresses that are everywhere from Target to Intermix Online.  They are comfy and cute and can be worn throughout the day for any occasion, just change the accessories from flats to heels and so forth.

Doesn't it just sound fab anyway?  I have the Brie and the Dominique already and I have today fallen in LOVE with the Noelle.  I know, I said no more gladiators, but this is a different interpretation, with the quilted style (like Chanel) it is a bit more chic and timeless:) Ok, I am selling it to myself, oh well:)  (The rep came to my job to share Fall styles---the most fun meeting to attend ever!)  These shoes can be purchased on Revolve Clothing's Website...also, you can buy Pour la Victoire at Stems and Shopbop.
