The must-have bag: A tote with tons of pockets

This bag is GREAT for mommy's, travel, business women and just anyone wanting to be organized.

I couldn't add the Isaac Mizrahi for QVC's  bag to the polyvore set because it wouldn't add to the saved items for some reason, but I had to share!  I always LOVE his bags!

Have you seen any less expensive version anywhere, if so, where?

Must-have summer dress from Target, a classic

Right when I saw this dress I thought of Isaac Mizrahi meets Kate Spade.  I know what they stylist was doing with the converse shoes since it goes with the brand, but I would pair this dress with a kitten heel.  I also see this type of dress being worn by Charlotte from SATC-just add a little bow belt and voila.

I love listening to Isaac Mizrahi keeping it real on his video blog...true reality.

He keeps it honest! Hahaha...Watch him to laugh...this is beyond fashion! For more of his how-to...check out his web-i-sodes...he's recently updated, so there are some good ones like how to make Sangria!...next, he needs to get on an app for my iPhone!

The Trend: Sleeveless Trench Dress

On the recent Running in Heels episode, Talita went with Joyce to the Banana Republic fashion show and commented on the way she so loved their take on the trench dress...without sleeves...*I couldn't find the one featured on the show, and I don't think the one I have an image of is available yet...but, you get what I am saying:)
Then, I get an email today from Liz Claiborne by Isaac Mizrahi, and he is coming out with a denim trench dress without sleeves...
But, I think it all began with ELLE's Joe Zee sharing how ladies can transform a trench to a dress by having the sleeves cut off and then sewing an edge to finish.  I have been wanting to do that since I read that in  my mag...I am planning on getting the Norma Kamali trench from WalMart since it is only $30 and I wont' feel bad about transforming it:)
But, as we can see, the trend is everywhere and there are so many cute versions...choose which one works best for you!

The New Fashion Game: Chicette

I LOVE this look---which is of course, Matthew Williamson...you have to check out the New York mag site, they have done some changes and it looks really good!

*My sister HATES this look---but, I think it is fun and it goes with the trend from the spread that I saw in the mag:)

I finally got to read Isaac Mizrahi's book, How to Have Style and I was so inspired.  Isaac is always ready to speak to women in every shape and at every price.  The biggest thing I took away from the book was to have fun with what you have---the whole package from your body to the clothes you already own.  I kind of already do this, but I wanted to share what I do with everyone.  Basically, I see something in a magazine, or even something someone is wearing that I see on the street and recreate the look with something I have at home.  It's a fun game to get you excited about what you already own instead of going out and always having to buy something new...which goes back to our new recessionistas:)

Liz Claiborne is Available to BUY Online NOW!

I wonder where we will be able to buy the coveted Isaac pieces for Liz Claiborne...hmmm, will it be in Macy's...the ones that are still open?  I hope they will be more accessible so I can try everything on:)  There are only a couple of looks available right now, but it is worth the wait...the price points look like they are below $200...hmm...I guess that is still good...I just won't be able to go as crazy as I did at Target'...but, you can buy the whole look from head to toe which is nice.

More Isaac

These pants are just soo classic...I love them, high waist, wide leg...how can you go wrong?
I am wearing a mix of the look above and the look below today:)  I love this classic-chic look---this is much better than a pair of sweats for a day of errands:)  I am also going to be looking for the necklace and my friend, Forever 21:)

I love the mix of this delicate dress with a wrap white belt and flat pinks.
Oh so Audrey.
I LOVE everything about this look!
This is how a suit should look---I need one of these in black:)
I said this before, but I am loving the rolled pant look right now.
Easy to go, get these pieces and you are done.  I LOVE the shoes!
I LOVE the handbag!
Love this entire look---I am ALWAYS about the safari look---and this bag is a MUST-HAVE for me---My color this year is orange:)

I was going to say I wish I could share all of my fave looks from the Isaac Mizrahi, Liz Claiborne line...so, I just decided I would.:)

New Year, New Changes for Isaac Mizrahi

I went to 3 Target stores the other day searching for the Anya Hindmarch bags which are on sale now and the Sigerson Morrison flats in the gold grommet (which I still haven't found), I realized that there were no Isaac racks in any of the stores...and NOTHING Isaac on the sale rack...my heart dropped when I realized there wasn't anything on the floor...but, something to keep in mind, there is eBay (which sellers may add more to the price), I saw some pieces with the tags still on them at Buffalo Exchange, and, he may be gone in the store (sadly), but he is still strong on target.com and you can get a lot of the styles you may have missed in the store at prices you can't say no to!  I would also try (which I haven't yet) checking out Goodwill.  When I was in New York, the Goodwill store had a lot of the pieces in the store with tags on them still...so, I am thinking that Target must have an agreement with Goodwill...
Isaac shares what he would love to do for the New Year...things change, so we just need to stay tune for what he will be up to...he is not going to let us down.

Collector's Item: Liz Claiborne

I would start rushing out for Liz Claiborne and Isaac Mizrahi vintage-y pieces from the 80's...I think that Liz Claiborne is going to take off after Isaac starts to getting his productions out for LC...Hopefully the brand will come back to what it used to be...here's to that!
Also, for those in NYC...Isaac sometimes does spots at Joe's Pub...if you are there attend!  He does giveaways and he does his sketches which I would totally hang on my wall at home!
