Joe Zee is so entertaining! I can't wait to see him on his new show on Sundance Channel

The girls from The City might not have a show anymore...but, Joe Zee is coming strong!  I can't wait to see his show...Not sure how I feel about Whitney Port's show yet...doesn't sound very fashion-y...and didn't Olivia Palermo say she had something in the works?  I would definitely watch it!  Well, until we find out get some fashion laughs from Joe Zee:)

The book to give this season for every fashionality: The Ellements of Personal Style

This book is HOT!  I've been seeing everyone talking about this.  And, once I received the book to review I was in LOVE!  I love the layout...Most magazine's the publish books give you all the items you need in your closet and share inspiration from celeb style.  But, this book does it all different.  Right away the layout pulls you in; it reminds me of how my favorite magazine, SUEDE used to be laid out.  It looks like a funky collage that pulls together all of the things that these fashionistas love.  The magazine (Joe Zee) pulled a variety of styles, age groups and types of celebs to share in this book.  And not only did they share the celebs fashion sense, but also their sense of decor.  So, be inspired and share this with a fashionista friend or family member this holiday season!

Here are my favorite fashion star sections:

Tracee Ellis Ross
DVF
Padma Lakshmi
Margherita Missoni
Janie Bryant
Fatima Robinson

The Trend: Sleeveless Trench Dress

On the recent Running in Heels episode, Talita went with Joyce to the Banana Republic fashion show and commented on the way she so loved their take on the trench dress...without sleeves...*I couldn't find the one featured on the show, and I don't think the one I have an image of is available yet...but, you get what I am saying:)
Then, I get an email today from Liz Claiborne by Isaac Mizrahi, and he is coming out with a denim trench dress without sleeves...
But, I think it all began with ELLE's Joe Zee sharing how ladies can transform a trench to a dress by having the sleeves cut off and then sewing an edge to finish.  I have been wanting to do that since I read that in  my mag...I am planning on getting the Norma Kamali trench from WalMart since it is only $30 and I wont' feel bad about transforming it:)
But, as we can see, the trend is everywhere and there are so many cute versions...choose which one works best for you!
