But, both Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 are influenced by Vintage clothing and accessories...I wouldn't be surprised if H&M had something similar as well:) I guess the choice is in your color selection:)
Full Skirts, Great Prints, Fab Discount!
Banana Republic is having a promo where if you put in: TAKE15OFF at checkout, you get 15% off...I LOVE the style of full skirts...they will never go out of style for me...They became REALLY big after Prada did them a couple of years ago, but skirts and full skirts for that matter have always had a strong presence in my wardrobe. They are elegant and the big one, they cover any flaws...I don't feel uncomfortable wearing a full skirt.

KMART Revisited
I haven't been to K-Mart in soooo long! I just saw my niece in a tee that says, "If the Shoe Fits, Buy It!" So, of course, I had to see if it was online...which, sadly it wasn't....but, I did find some other things that were less than $19.99! I think it will be even better at the store, but, still check out the site.
My Love Affair With Oscar
Since I can't afford Oscar de la Renta yet...but, I LOVE his work...I figured I would check out O Oshttp://www1.macys.com/search/index.ognc?SearchTarget=*&Keyword=o+oscarcar at Macy's and see what I thought and I like a couple of the looks...I basically am looking for the fabulous silhouette and classic design that Oscar has in his couture lines...Also, a previous designer for Oscar de la Renta is now at Bill Blass New York, the RTW line for Bill Blass and is creating marvelous pieces that favor the classic styling of Oscar de la Renta.
My Dream Job: Trend Forecasting: "Detecting Fashion"
I just read the article for New York Times, "Roaming the World, Detecting Fashion" and I am salivating! My dream job and as the article said, so intuitive! I grew up as a navy brat, living all over the world. I love to travel, and I will keep traveling now that I am married into the Air Force. I have already been to India this year and we could hopefully move to England, Germany, or Japan! I also have family and friends all over the US...I am telling you all, I am MADE for this job! Resurrection
I felt like French Connection had been lost for good...but, recently I have been eyeing a lot of items when I am picking up and returning clothes to Dillards from photo shoots...so, I decided to look on the site...not only are they now selling online (something that wasn't happening too long ago...my hubby used to LOVE their jeans!) but, I am loving so many of their styles right now.

Now, DSW is officially online...another reason to love the company more...no need to search for the perfect shoe and not know if it will be there...now, there is more selection...regardless of where you live. I have always preferred the New York City DSW's over anywhere in the US...but, I am always open for something new online:) I love how every shoe, you can look at any angle you would like to see the shoe...now, I love that the site has become available...but, I always believe...it is much better to try on a shoe in person than to just believe that the size will fit...every shoe is different...but, with that said---it is still exciting:)

Lip Gloss Heaven: Guys Heart Betsey
Ok, everyone...I am already a gloss-a-holic...but, after seeing my friend, and owner of Pour Moi rocking fab lip gloss repeatedly, I had to ask who she was wearing...and not only did she give me the name, she brought me an extra she had since she LOVED it so much:) So, since I LOVE you all so much, I had to share the wealth. The Brand: Urban Decay XXX Shine. The Style: Guys Heart Betsey. The reason: the gloss is perfect, not too gooey, but just the right amount of shine and the color is sexy pinkish red! Spring Style Always Brings Something Back
This Spring there are a few things I am seeing again from last year to years ago that are must buys for this Spring.
I feel like aviators really came back last year when people started to wear the Ray-Ban's again...I got a pair on the Air Force base my hubby works at because they were only $88 and today, I found a pair of vintage Ray-Ban's at Buffalo Exchange for only $18.50, what a find!
Staw Fedora's could never get tired. They make any basic look go over the top...they can even make you look fab even if you have terrible hair from swimming the day before and not washing (gasp)!
Jellie's have been BIG since I was a kid...they keep coming back and I never tire of them...they are a cute and fun throw back to childhood, who can get tired of that:) Since I am already a BIG fan of gladiators, jellie gladiators are even more fun!

I am very excited about the new Target Go International Line, it looks like it may promise to give me the long vest that I have been searching for at a reasonable price of $27! The only catch is that it is striped, but I might be able to get over that:) We shall see:)

Keeping it Real with Spring Cleaning and Closet Case: Part I
I am reading, Shop Your Closet: The Ultimate Guide to Organizing Your Closet With Style by Melanie Charlton Fascitelli and keeping magazine clippings about organizing and I am ready to tackle my scary closet mess that has gone way out of hand since my hubby has been gone. I am going to keep it real with you all and share my mess and how I am going to handle it with tips and tricks from mags and the book...and I will be the only one doing this, no one is going to help and I am not hiring a "professional." Doesn't it just sound fab anyway? I have the Brie and the Dominique already and I have today fallen in LOVE with the Noelle. I know, I said no more gladiators, but this is a different interpretation, with the quilted style (like Chanel) it is a bit more chic and timeless:) Ok, I am selling it to myself, oh well:) (The rep came to my job to share Fall styles---the most fun meeting to attend ever!) Sweats are NO Sweat with Hard Tail
I have never been a sweats kind of girl...but, any time I find a great casual look that I can rock with comfy ballet flats, or funky cas' wedges it is on. I was working on a yoga shoot and found some fab Hard Tail sweat fabric pieces that I LOVE so I had to share of course:) You can't find the style online yet...but, I spoke to a man at the Santa Monica location and was told that they will be updating the website soon...just call that store to find out where it is sold locally for you or buy it over the phone:)
