Get the Scoop: Interview with one of the new stylists working with the LOFT

I alway think it is fun to learn more about the people working behind the scenes at my favorite stores.  I was lucky enough to have Kate Young answer some of my questions and I wanted to share a little insight into what she is all about.  For more inside info check out her bio for Ebay fashion.  And, catch more of what she loves at Refinery 29.

Since I am pregnant I think it would be fun to share with my readers your tips for staying fashionable while preggers.
I try to wear things that are tight fitting where my body is still small!  I also tend to dress in darker colors and wear smaller accessories - and REALLY high heels!
What inspires you?
My husband and my friends mostly.  I also love blogs - I read tons of fashion and design blogs every day.  (Waiting to see if I can find out some of the blogs she loves to read:)
What is your must-have item from the LOFT right now?  and for fall?
I love the cardigan with the grosgrain trim and I really love the polka dot ruffle top for fall. (She is wearing both pieces above and they will be in stores this fall.)
What is your style tip for fashionista's to say au' currant?
Find your look - the style, color and proportion that suits you and then just add a few things every season to keep your look relevant.

Inspired by Fashionair

After watching any Style Counsel on Fashionair, I am excited and ready to put together my version of their trend. The past webisode on vintage was AMAZING and had me rushing to sites like eBay and Etsy for key items to add to my already LOVING vintage wardrobe.

I am loving chiffon right now, so when they stated that long chiffon skirts were a must-have, I quickly added it to my need to get now list:)

Here are a few I found:

eBay:

Etsy:

Maxi Metallic Skirt (*note: I would style according to Fashionair and not the seller:)

The Results: Selling On Ebay

It was fun...I really didn't make anything...most people got a great deal of 99 cents an item:)  Oh well, I guess I tried...but, it was fun!  I hope the people who get these pieces really enjoy!  And I will try and sell the last two items to Buffalo if I can get there this week:)

Ideeli launched yesterday, will it be the next eBay?

eBay supporters around the world can tell you right off that it is addicting once you start...yet, you read about fraud and you wonder if it is worth it...well, Ideeli, launched yesterday and is creating a stir for all fashionista's out there that want a steal of a deal, but don't want a fake.  The luxury site is offering designer items (which so far looks like mainly accessories) for 50-90% off-similar to a sample sale...plus, giveaways...amazing idea...we shall see how it takes off.  I signed up for the site updates today.  If you are really interested, you can pay to be one of the first notified about items that go for sale.  A lot of great options on the site, very of the moment, I give the site and the idea **** and I can't wait to see how the site comes together!  Snaps to Paul Hurley for the idea;)
