Boho dressing Inspired by Latitude

I love everything about this look that Latitude had on their blog and in their email blast.  The suede skirt unbuttoned with the Mexican top tucked in, the lace up flats (Jesus shoes), the tassel earrings and the Mochila bag are all PERFECTION!  Every piece in this look is amazing!

Here are the items I found that were inspired by these pieces:

Of course I looked to Etsy for the suede skirt:

Vintage High Waist Suede Skirt $30

Vintage brown suede A-line skirt $44

Vintage suede skirt / A line / 70's Chocolate brown suede snap front midi long skirt $75

I love the idea of DIYing the tassel earrings...I have done it before and they turned out pretty cool.  Honestly WTF has a version that looks pretty cool.

What I do when there is no more Downton Abbey to watch on Mondays...

Finally make the homemade shaving cream I've been meaning to do:)
This was a lot of fun to make!  I, of course used the coconut oil and coconut conditioner and skipped the baby lotion...instead I used a almond oil lotion I had and a shampoo that has Moroccan oil...so, I'll be all oiled up!  I can't wait to try this manana!

Creating packing DIY's:
Free People shared how your favorite soap can be covered with fabric and used to make drawers, closets or your luggage smell nice.  I decided to use a pouch I got from shopping in India and adding my fave sandalwood soap to it.  Done and done.
P.S. I am not really happy with the change in packaging on the soap...boo, right!:(

Search for much needed bathroom accessories:

Isn't this perfect for loofah's and such?:)

And, now...thinking about watching this...I can't remember if I have seen it before:)

The beaded tassel necklace is the new must-have accessory

I'm seeing these necklaces everywhere and finding they are either really expensive or look really cheap.  The other day I saw a lady and had to ask where hers was from and she made it!  So today I decided to check out etsy and everything was $25 and less and the color combos were super cute!  Here are a few that caught my eye.

Loving the multiple color strings in this tassel!  It will go with everything!:)

Only $19 in a variety of colors.

This version is $25, but I love the mix of beads on this!

This is $15 and the seller is from Turkey.  Loving the different beads on this!

Here are some blogs sharing how to DIY the necklace:

Love affair with straw hats + eugenia kim

This book is on the way and I should have it by Saturday, funny enough.  I am hoping that this is what I'm expecting and will allow me to do some DIY fun with hats since Eugenia Kim hats are a little too expensive for me to buy more than one.  I just bought a straw fedora at the Dollar Tree and can't wait to see if I can create a feather trim hat with directions from the designer  herself:)  We shall see how that goes.

Here are a few of the hats I'm LOVING right now!
Bianca feather-trimmed straw fedora (I really, really want this one...I spied it on Instragram on Satine Boutique's posts.  They have the best outfit inspiration posts EVER!)

Eugenia Kim - Craig (Natural) - Hats (This is the hat I want to use as my inspiration for my first-ever DIY feather fedora.  Lets see how it goes:)

DIY towel poncho

I've been meaning to share this DIY for years!  I had found a vintage towel that was turned into a poncho at a yard sale in Portland  a while ago, but I got preggers and wanted to wait till I could share it on.
I'm being lazy and having my tailor make for me.  But, it's super easy!  You just fold a towel (any towel) in half.  Cut a hole in the center where your head would go through.  Then, use a surger to create the hole where your arms would go.  And you're done!  So easy!  And my face towel maker, Fresco is now making towel ponchos as Serb below that are sooo cute and a little less than $200.

The one I bought at a yard sale:)
I'm going to find a fun beach towel and make a larger style.  I've also used hand towels for my babies.  Will share how they all look once they are done:)

DIY: Something cool to make with a tassel keychain

Mossimo Supply Co. Tassel Belt

I'm super addicted to all things tassels and was gushing over a ladies pair of high top sneakers (that sadly can't find online yet...) and told her how much I LOVED them and how I adore tassels.  She responded by telling me about a belt she thought she was wearing...then, gave me an AMAZING DIY.  Use a tassel keychain to create the belt.  Funny enough, after I left there and headed to Target' I found a tassel belt as even more inspiration on sale!  ONLY $7 but I didn't love how the faux leather looked for the tassel detail.  I like worn in tassels:)

So, here are a few tassels I think would be fun to use.

DIY: From Indian Chunni (scarf) to fabulous vest in 1 easy step

To start, what is a chunni??  A Chunni or Dupatta is a long scarf that is essential to many Indian and South Asian women's suits.  It's the perfect length I've found for a long flowing vest that can also be used as a wrap dress if you add a belt to secure the closure.  Plus, the chunni's always have beautiful colors and designs.  I will share a picture of me wearing mine soon...check back for updates...I just didn't want to miss out on sharing you how to do this for this weekend since it's so easy:)

I found the easy direction on a youtube video that takes forever to get to the point...I found a new one after searching through many that shows what to do quick and easy...because that is how easy this is!:)

Here is how the chunni's turned out on my dress form.  Don't they look so flowy and light?:):

As seen on Kourtney Kardashian on Kourtney & Kim Take New York last night

Siwy Wasson Plaid Top in Moonshiner $173
I saw Kourtney rocking a cute plaid top and had to share the look and the DIY for how to achieve the style.  She was wearing the top with leggings I think and she was out with Mason playing at Central Park.  In the look above it seems like it was another outing...but, who knows:)  The top is a little expensive...but, I found some items that look similar and I already have a link to a DIY for how to make this gem which I've decided I need to have done ASAP!:)

The Look A Likes:

Holey Moley Top ONLY $44.99!!!

Sparkle & Fade Cold-Shoulder Silk Blouse - Cream - Only $69 and comes in other colors from Urban Outfitters

My Pet Square 'Anyone' Cut Out Shoulder Blouse $87.26
The DIY:
Now, the one I've wanted for forever is the denim cut-out top from Urban Outfitters which is ONLY $49.99...I'm not sure why I've been delaying getting it...I guess because I can easily have it DIYed...maybe now, I'll take one of my denim tops in to be done with my plaid one I plan on doing:)
The DIY is from a previous post here.

Here is a great plaid top that can be used for the project.  I can't decide if I want to use a women's large/xl or a men's small/medium top...we shall see...I like the option of wearing the top loose over leggings or tucked into a skirt.  We shall see.
