Tonight's project runway winners look will be sold on New Balance...

...Tomorrow at 5am!  I was hoping for Kate...but, it turns out Helen's jacket did it for the judges.  I'm def buying the jacket, but won't buy anything else.  If it had been Kate's look I would have bought it all...oh well...maybe Heidi will decide to add it to her line later...crossing my fingers:)

Magazine+Reality=New Shows Popping up Everyday

I have no reason to complain, I am rather excited about opportunity to watch fashion programs almost every day of the week now...I thought it would be fun to see which magazines, celebs, and channel are supporting these shows and see which ones everyone loves:)

• House of Style-Teen Vogue-MTV
  
• Project Runway-Magazine Affiliate?-Lifetime (newly confirmed)
  
• The Fashion Show-Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child (don't know what I think of that...)-BRAVO TV
  
• Stylista-ELLE-CW (I hope this returns)
• Running in Heels-Marie Claire (now featuring Nina Garcia...she wasn't on Stylista and I wonder who will replace her on Project Runway now that it will return...)-Style Network

• America's Next Top Model-Tyra needs no one as well:)-CW
• The City-DVF (no mag)-MTV (Whitney was just featured on the cover of Cosmo by herself--snaps to you girlie!

I wonder if VOGUE has anything in the works....well, we know that they have the Wintour project-movie coming out in September called of course, "The September Issue," which I have in my closet right now:)  But, we shall see if they jump on the bandwagon and create some sort of reality show...

Project Runway Fashion Star Rising to New Heights:Korto Momolu

I can't wait for Korto Momolu to hit the fashion market and be sold in a store near you...I am hoping that she will decide to go for the price point that works not only for our look, but, our pocketbook...until then, check out the site and her blog for updates.

I haven't heard of celebs wearing her line yet, but the site details that celebs are wearing her pieces now...That usually means BIG things to follow, but I was expecting that even before celebs were wearing her pieces.

BET Rip the Runway Fashion Show Video for Korto Momolu just shows that she is ready to take on the fashion world, even if she didn't win.

Kelli-hello, her first piece was dynamite!

Leanne-She is from Portland, I have to represent!  And I want to buy her clothes, so I really like it!

Korto-ok, so her second piece wasn't that hot--my hips would have looked crazy in that and I am shapely:)  But, that first yellow piece I would rock over and over...I hope she designs something like that in real life:)

Excitement is Roaring For Project Runway Which Starts Tomorrow!

I am soo excited!  I have been so bored with nothing on the past couple of months!  But, the drama...of course, fashion has to have the drama...moving from Bravo to Lifetime (which we usually only watch on Saturday's when nothing is on and watch those crazy movies:)...but, it is still with Bravo for the fifth season...so, we shall see...something to talk about:)  Also, how long is Nina staying with the show since she is no longer with Elle magazine...will that change?  More to come...

Carmen Webber sited

Although Carmen Webber, (designer for SHNY) the contestant for Project Runway didn't make it through to the end...I have sited her on the ad for Project Show in WWD...I wonder if she will be showcasing her line, Sistah's Harlem New York at the this exhibit.  The New York Times claims this exhibit to be, "A major port of call for trend-seeking store buyers, editors and stylists."

This is from when I was introduced to the team...I don't even remember how we met...but, they were never too busy to email or meet up...

My mouth DROPPED as I started watching the Premiere Episode of Project Runway. Carmen Webber is the designer of Sistah's Harlem New York, one of the first designers I have ever worked with...she is AMAZING to work with I have to say...she has a vast background in the fashion industry, not only designing, styling, and modeling...but, she has traveled the world and attacks creativity to another level! I hope she wins and I can't wait for people to see her AMAZING designs! She has a book out right now, "T-Shirt Makeovers." Check it out to see how she began remixing recycled,vintage pieces...I still have many of the pieces I had bought through the years...I even styled with one of their items for an up-and-coming artist...well, now everyone know who I want to win:) Go CARMEN!
