JOE FRSH for JCP is now available and they've got my attention

If this line is anything like the Duro Olowu then I'm buying everything that has caught my eye.  The prices are great (everything here is less than $50) and the color combos and designs are perfection!  JCP has now taken themselves from a company I never really considered anymore to a place that I will keep frequenting for these collabs.  Plus, while there I noticed other cute stuff...check out my instagram for the pieces that caught my eye.:)

Recessionista Seals the Deals!

Today was my BIG day to run around and spend the money that I received for my Birthday so I made sure that I spread it out as much as possible with the deals I found.  I ended up having a very lucky day today so, I had to of course share the deals I found so others can be as fortunate:) *I am going to share backwards...too much work to fix the images and everything---I am being lazy:)
3rd stop: Dillards---I have never really shopped at Dillards...it's usually Nordstrom's or maybe Macy's...but, I went in for work today to pull for my photo shoot on Thursday and my heart jumped when I saw items marked down 70 percent!  How can you say no?  I have also always heard my friends gush about their French Connection deals at Dillards...well, I nabbed a BCBG dress that was usually at least $200 for $30!  There is just no beating this day!
2nd stop: JCPenney---now, I went for a specific top and all they had was an XS and I wanted it be larger...so, I was going to give up and then, decided to at least look a little to see if it might be somewhere else and found a jacket for $9.99!  Now, you know I was even more excited when the lady at the register said, "$7.98!"  I was like ok, now I can get the shirt tomorrow and not even feel bad:)  So, today has been nothing but good deals:)  I am of course going to follow up with more deals tomorrow after I sell a pair of jeans I haven't worn for a pair from KMart that were screaming my name;)hahaha...it doesn't stop in my world...but, I keep on sharing:) *the jacket is no longer online...but, there were so many at the store don't miss out!
1st stop: KMart...I have been wanting this skirt ever since I saw it...and then, I noticed that in my April issue of LUCKY there was a copycat look that resembled my KMart item...now, the skirt has gone down to $12, so I had to nab it!  Now to just find the blouse that I think is a chic addition to any wardrobe!  If anyone has seen a silky crew neck top with 3/4 sleeves...please share:)  The funny part was that I had to try and keep my cool because there were so many items that caught my eye...but, I decided, this is what I came for...so stay focused and leave:)
First, I had a lot of reaction to the blouse that I was wearing today that
I bought for a mere $5 at Target two weeks ago...now, online it says $12, but you have to go into the store I guess if you want the deal...and it is worth it!

Plus, I heard Macy's is having a really good sale and I stopped into Urban Outfitters and it almost felt like the whole store was on sale:)  And check out the $30 and below sale section that Nordstrom's always has!

JC Penney Offering More Surprises

After being let down by my first visit to JC Penney to search the I Heart Ronson line...I was flipping through some of my April issues of my fashion mags and fell in love with a dress and blouse print and decided I had to check it out in person...during my investigation, (the store didn't carry that much of the I Heart Ronson) I turned a corner and literally gasped!  I found the line, American Living and fell in love!  The styling reminds me of Charlotte from SATC...and most of the styles are on sale right now and don't forget, JC Penney's usually has great weekend sales to check out for where you can use a coupon for more off!

Review: Celeb Lines, DO or DON'T...You decide

I usually don't shoot down lines/brands, but recently I have stopped into some department stores and I have honestly been disappointed.  A couple of weeks ago, I finally stopped into Sears to check out the LL Cool J line that I had been hearing about developments for since I was at Saks...and yes, he was scoping out working with Saks I guess because P. Diddy had done the same...but, after seeing his line at Sears I really don't think that Saks would have accepted it...I think it is nice how LL developed the line wanting to share his fashion/styling with so many people...but, I don't think it really has much to it...And it is funny because he was recently on the E! network's Fashion Police show and he was sporting the clothing...I think what he should have done was stick to men's only...
Another let down...
Today, I finally ventured into JC Penney after watching Confessions of a Shopaholic and was sad about the Fabulosity line...I am very in to the show and all that Kimora is about...but, the line at JC Penney just does nothing for me...I think that urban lines really need to bring more to the style scope...It would be nice if you could actually find the items that are on the runway shows that she does...it's kind of like Heatherette...you never find the good stuff...
Target does looks for less, but there is still a variety of looks that fit a trend.
I also checked out the I (heart) Ronson line at JC Penney today and wasn't as moved as I thought I would be after all of the commercials that caught my attention...the prices are definitely nice, but besides that nothing really did it for me.
One thing I do have to share on a positive note is that I didn't know that Chip & Pepper had a line at JC Penney...the look was the tattered jeans that are in right now...the price was great, but they only came in flare and boot cut...something to check out though.
