My dream jobs

People alway ask me what I would do if I had stayed in New York or just if I could do anything...most think I would want to be a designer...so, here's a little peek into what I would want to do...I was inspired to share this after I was so excited watching the OPRAH show today:)
Dream Jobs:
Creative Director like Jenna Lyon's
Fashion Editor to a fab fashion mag like Marie Claire, LUCKY, Bazaar or VOGUE
or just working in the fashion office of a fashion focused department store like Bergdorf Goodman or Henri Bendel...and let's not leave out Saks or Nemans:)


For those of you still going to school and trying to figure out what you want to do...buy the teen VOGUE HANDBOOK...it has all the answers!  And just remember, it's all about having fun doing what you LOVE!

The New Bendel Bag, I am so in LOVE!

Bendel has made it even easier to fall in LOVE with their new leather handbag collection with the signature brown and white stripes!  I secretly love getting the paper bags to carry around as long as they last, but now, we all have the opportunity to share our LOVE of Henri Bendel with all with this fab new collection.  How can you say no?

Well, What Do You Know, the Members Only Company is Back

You know, those vintage jackets you see some people wearing...well, Kelli Delaney, one of the people to start US weekly has taken on relaunching the brand with the Members Only Jackets, but is adding more items to the list of things sold and is selling at Henri Bendel.  I can't say that I can run to Henri's right now and buy anything for $950, but you can sure believe that I am running to my nearby thrift store and scouring the racks for a less than $5 Member's Jacket....I used to have one actually while in college...I don't know what I did with it...I would wear it with my high waist (not dramatic) khaki pencil skirt from Banana Republic and some funky sandals like the ones from Nine West. Good luck searching for the Member's Only jackets at your local thrift store or shopping for them at Henri Bendel's.

Shop Frenzy: Henri Bendel Finally Online! I am BEYOND Myself

How did I miss this!  I just read that Henri Bendel is now online!  Does everyone understand how AMAZING this is!?  This is a speciality store like no other, that only has one store on 5th Avenue in New York!  If anything, you will just want to buy something small to get the signature brown and white bag or tissue paper:)  If you have never witnessed the store...check out the site to get an understand of how GRAND this store is that carries designers you know as well as up and coming designers that are on the cusp.  Enjoy
