I usually don't like art on my bags, but, I LOVE this style from Longchamp

This is an excerpt from the Longchamp website describing the line:
This is the new fantasy theme for Le Pliage bags. It’s an original design for Longchamp created by the French illustrator Robert Wagt. Each bag is an episode of the comic strip that tells the story of a fashion victim and her very active life, from Paris to New York as well as Saint-Tropez and who, after all her travelling finally finds rest at home, in London, Tokyo or maybe Sydney.

V for Vintage is up and running The Fab Site!

She started off by building a blog centered around opening her vintage boutique and sharing her fave looks and now the creator of V for Vintage is one of the great minds behind the revamp of Quicksilver.  So, check out the site for great prices and occasional deals!  Also, sign up for her daily emails on the V for Vintage blog to great ideas for fab ensembles!

Online Video Fashion Feature

I LOVE the video snippets from Who What Wear Daily, and now, one of my fave sites for outfit ideas from My-Wardrobe.  The video goes through three trends highlighting the trend that is happening for the season and what they love!  I love it!  It is just as good as the email blasts that are sent out that I adore.

What I wore in India, plus a couple of looks from the streets

Handbags Made in India

These handbags are AMAZING!  These are like handbags you see by designers, Oscar de la Renta or Ports 1961, but AUTHENTIC!  I got to go into a location where they made these shoulder gems and had to share with all of you!

The Quest For Bangles: Designers making bangles right in front of me!

This is the finished product.:)
I had incredible experiences like this seen below where I was able to watch the people that make the beautiful bangles that we see here in the States as well as in India.  The people were so welcoming to the experience.  I truly felt like I got a great piece of India just from the opportune moments I was able to see these things occur.

Back From India

Hello ALL!

Makeover Show: The Tyra Banks Show

I love Tyra's makeover themed shows...I remember when she used to be a guest on Oprah sharing fashion news...I still LOVE America's Next Top Model over the Tyra show...but, I always have to share when there is a show to DVR...this week, check out The Tyra show on March 5th for a show called, How do I look, getting women out of their style ruts.

Caftan LOVE

I already own a coupon of vintage caftans that I adore because they are so comfy, effortless and chic...and I plan to buy some in India while I am here, but, I just saw that Old Navy will be selling a fabulous option that everyone should run and get for only $24.50...you can't beat that price!

Free is ALWAYS A Magic Word

My grandfather always said nothing in life is free...I guess he is partially right...but, it still is fun to hear that something is free regardless of how you get it....Well, to get to the point, Net-a-porter has sent me an email about their free shipping until March 10.  Simply enter 'FREESHIP' in the promo box when checking out and voila...no extra cost!  Don't you deserve it:)

My Jaw Has Dropped After Reading that ZAC POSEN will be designing for Target!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am soo excited!  I know that I am going to buy every piece!  I have always dreamed of one day purchasing a Zac Posen piece, the Oscar de la Renta of today I would say....
Update: How disappointing...the line really is only in Australia!  How can this be done to us?  Why would they choose Australia out of all of the stores in the world???  (Not trying to discount their importance at all...)  How sad:(  I might have to plan a trip:)  Here is more info on a Target page that I have never heard of before...

Behind the scenes of an Oprah makeover show

Oprah is on Youtube Now! She is soo smart! This is going to be BIG:)

Menswear Style: I had a Friend Ask Me What The Trend Was Here, Check Out A Couple of Staples Below

The key to the menswear trend is to ensure that the look keeps a sexy feminine edge to it so you don't look like you are wearing your boyfriends clothing.  The clothes should be tailored to show your feminine curves.
A must-have item for this trend is the vest.  A vest is a great layering piece that you can pair with a longer vest, which I saw in the March issue of LUCKY magazine, or worn alone as picture here.  The vest can be paired with wide leg trousers or a pencil skirt and keep its sexy edge.
Denim Stovepipes are a sexy option to wear with strappy sandals this season (these are the new skinny jean), it brings all of the focus to the shoe.
The accessory to use, anything with studs and great hardware this gives the look the rough edge and avoids anything feeling dainty.  This handbag has great leather trim along the handle and I love the leather tassel like you find on Chanel bags.
Now, you are ready to take on the menswear style without question.  But, if you have any, just ask:)

Eyebrow Addict Giveaway: Talika

I am such an eyebrow addict!  I only go to Anastasia 2 hours away to get my eyebrows waxed....people think I am crazy, but it is just that serious.  I can't imagine someone taking it all off after I have worked on growing them back for almost 2 years...yes it has taken that long!  I still have areas to grow in so I am going to try and rush the process with the Talika Eyebrow Lipocils...lets see how it progresses.  Well, I read about Talika in Elle magazine and I had to research.  I usually fill in my eyebrow spaces with an eyebrow powder and then finish with a brow gel.  I LOVE how with Talika fills in the spots without a powder...and it truly works-I have used it!  The eyebrow extender does it all in one stroke.  Send an email to fashionalities@gmail.com about your eyebrow issues and you could win a free Eyebrow extender or Lipocils.  Talika is donating $3 to the Writers Guild of America Fund on every Talika.com transactions in the US, until the end of May.  You can find stores all over the US, just check the site for a location near you, it is worth it.

Getting Floral Without All of the Print

I don't know if you heard, but daytime clutches are in and the Lily Clutch in Nude is just the "it" bag for this season.  I have to add again that it I also LOVE that that designers name is so similar to mine...there is such a connection.  Kristin Holstein not only sells on the Kage site after March 1st, but also sells on DS Additions and  Apropos Boutique.  Hurry and get all of your spring essentials before it is too late:)
Extra: Check out the bag in the March issue of People Style!
