It's that time again: spring brand magazines

I am always excited when the seasons change and it's time to get my brand magazines...some cost, and some don't...but, they are all worth it.  Get your fill of the inspirations behind your favorite brands.  Plus, style tips, designer interviews and more.  I just LOVE it!

Here are a few of the brand magazines on my radar:

Net-a-Porter:

I have been getting this magazine since the first issue and have kept everyone!  This year, sadly I did not get it...but, I am happy to say that now it is for sale and you don't have to buy anything to receive it.  The issue is ONLY $10 and worth it!  Make sure to purchase this ASAP!

My-Wardrobe:
The hard copy of the style guide has already sold out, it must be pretty AMAZING!  It isn't available yet...but, check back and use the link above to access the style guide on their facebook page.

H&M:

Looks like I need to hurry in and snag  my Spring 2011 issue!  These are always free and are available in store or online.  I LOVE these!  They are so inspirational!

ASOS:
There are just tons of editorials you won't want to miss...be inspired by the styling and the great interviews!  It's free to view online and looks like it costs to buy a hard copy...I also noticed that they haven't posted a new issue since November 2010...wonder what's up with that...will look into it and let everyone know...

Update: Just noticed that Gap now has an online magazine called, Gap Mag that I had to share...have you checked it out yet?

I'm OBSESSED: Sequin everything

I have been seeing sequin everywhere (Oprah has been rocking sequin skirts and tops recently...) from designers like Haute Hippie and more at Net-a-Porter to J. Crew (I LOVE how Jenna rocks her sequin pants!).  But, the prices seem to be too much for an item I see as a trend that won't repeat for me.  I was excited when I noticed Victoria's Secret has a variety of sequin options at great prices.  Here are the ones that caught my eye.

I am LOVING the POM-POM craze right now!!!



They're everywhere! I thought maybe we would only see pom-poms during the winter on knit pieces like hats and scarves...but, no, they are everywhere this spring and we even have a fun DIY version for you to try with your accessories!  Check out P.S I made this to have some fun creating a necklace at home!

Get your new must-have beach read this summer from Net-a-Porter when you make a purchase this spring.

I always love getting the Net-a-Porter hard copy each season...I've been getting this wonderful keepsake since they started...and now, there are changes...I do have to say I miss the NOTES being small enough to fit in my handbag...but, change is good and I can now see this being my beach read.  Let this be your direction for spring style...any questions, the answers are all here.  PLUS, a new editorial spread has been added to the mix included in this spring must-have.  Then, there is an inspirational article about all of the originators of women's style.  And they didn't leave out the "event planner" that helps every type of fashionista get her look together.  This essential reference is available with purchase at Net-a-Porter so get what you need and lust after what you want in this must-have new mag.  And, even if you don't get this reference, check the weekly online magazine on Net-a-Porter too!

DIY Tip:
Net-a-porter has the BEST styling on their site ever and now you can print a look while viewing a page and get a notes section at the bottom.  I would put all of your fave looks together from the site in a cute Jordi Labanda binder from Target:)

Video Shopping with your fave brands and designers

As you can tell, today's theme is videos...I think since it's Sunday and everyone is probably relaxing why not take some time to catch up on fashion-focused videos. Which leads me to how many brands are using videos (online) to draw customers in to the product...have you noticed? Here are a few brands I follow religiously to see what they are sharing on their videos. What should I be watching? *These are all great ways to be inspired...

(I think that J. Crew and Kate Spade needs to jump on the bandwagon:)
