Painting on an Hermes like Kimi or check out what this lady did to a LV in India #graffitihandbag

I could NEVER ruin...or lets say get artistic with such an expensive bag!!:)  I like what Tracee Ellis Ross did with a fake LV she had once that she shared in ESSENCE magazine in 2011.  Kimi seems to be ok with getting artistic with her $20K bags...but, I am just not there:)

Now. trying to find the right bag...at the right price to do this fab Indian design...maybe my vintage Saks bag that looks a little Hermes-ish...but, I also need to do a tote like the LV style:)  Here are some I am considering...stay tuned for my finished product:)

H&M Structured bag, $50
This ZARA doctor bag is EVERYTHING!  $60
More expensive than I would prefer...but, so pretty!  ZARA $139
I need a job just so I can get this brilliant bag from ZARA for $100;)
Something like this could be perfect...from ZARA $60
Something from Forever 21 maybe...$25
This would work on a higher price...Michael Kors....$381
$40 from Target'

Goyard Dreams Come True: Travel in Style

Don't you just want to go shopping with these pieces that are at great prices?

I was so excited when I was flipping through my March issue of Marie Claire and spotted a bag that looks like my coveted Goyard for a HUGE fraction of the price! Goyards run for thousands and my new find by Jack Russell Malletier run from about $100-500! How could you say no??? Plus, there are new spring styles that will be updated on the site soon! I have seen the spring catalog and it's worth checking back! I really want the luggage! How chic!?
This case is ONLY $195, I would carry it as a purse of course and for all of my readers, you get FREE SHIPPING! *In the spring, there will be an ivory version of the bag that I also love, but will probably get dirty easier...There are a variety of colors for the stripes: black coated canvas with natural (picture), red or taupe leather trim or in white body coated canvas and orange or red leather trim. For any questions about the brand or purchasing, contact: contact@jrmalletier.com.

Shopping Test...LV Monogram

I am test driving something I read about in the Style.com newsletter today...My heart basically jumped out of my body when I saw the picture...LV's have the same monogramming that my dream Goyard has...I text a fashion friend of mine that works at LV and inquired about the price...she says that it would be free...she wasn't familiar with doing the bag, but she said the wallet would be FREE!  I am taking it in tomorrow, of course...no delay and having it done....NR here we come:)hahahah  I think I will wait to do the letters on my Goyard once that happens;)

"Couture for Coins..."

As Kate Spade refers to a coin purse that she LOVES for August...this reminded me of the Chanel coin purse that I saw in a mag today that I was gushing over!  It is funny how these small trinkets can be so expensive, but we still want them:)Marc by Marc JacobsLVKate SpadeChanel ( I love this!)

Sad News: Steve & Barry Screaming Bankrupt...

What does that mean for our coveted Bitten line by SJP?  Companies like Sears are looking at buying the company...so we shall see what happens...it is interesting, in the WWD article about this, the company states that customers can't deal with prices going up to fix the bankruptcy problem because they are trying to deal with gas prices going up...so, why is it that Gucci, Chanel, LV and many other designer labels aren't fixing prices or dropping down?  I have a pair of Chanel sunglasses that I bought about 4 years ago for about $175 and now they cost more than $250...what gives?  The economy is not getting better?  Many say it is because the rich aren't affected and even if they are, they are keeping up image by still purchasing high end items without even looking at the price tag...I guess sometimes image is everything for people.

More on the matter from NY Post.
