The look for less: The Valentino jelly bow flat as seen on The Sartorialist

Ok, people.  After seeing this flat on a mommy shown on The Sartorialist, I went crazy trying to find out who it was by...then, when I found out it was by Valentino and costs at least $300 I was like find a discount or wait for a sale...until, I found a knock off (I know...:) at Ooh La La Boutique for ONLY $28 (it comes in four colors: yellow, pink, green, and red)!  Plus, until the 4th you can get 15% off using the code: SUMMERTIME.
I really wanted the nude color it just made the style a little more chic for moi...but, I'm just going to go for the red.
I also, found the lace style on eBay by the same label, DIZZY.

You are going to want this! Angela Caputi Tortoise Chain Link Bracelet

I spotted this bracelet today and the swap party that I went to and I had to have it!  I, of course also had to share it with everyone.  The fashion friend that shared the info said she had seen it on The Sartorialist...fyi, if you want to check it out.  She found two different options.  The prices aren't that BIG...but, there are a few dollars to save if you can wait.  Sadly, the budget friendly is out of stock right now...but, if you can't wait...it's worth it!

How are you going to rock this?  I'm loving how the fashionista on The Sartorialist layered it with other not so expected bracelets.

Fashion in Commercials

I am LOVING the styling in commercials right now...they just keep catching my eye when I am not forwarding through my DVR'ed shows so I had to share:)  I am also always loving the DKNY ads...oddly, I never purchase the clothes, but I LOVE the styling.  PERFECT!  The Sartorialist shot these ads for the DKNY this spring...

This is a BIG year for the Sartorialist, from just posting pics on his journey's to VOGUE using his shots, then ads, and now, a book is expected this year compiling all of his fabulous images.  This just proves that HUGE things can happen for people who share their passions with everyone via blogs!

Men in Skirts

Not kilts, skirts...I saw an image of this on The Sartorialist the other day and had to show my metro hubby to see what he said and he simply stated that he is brave...I am not sure how to take a man in a skirt just yet...we'll see if this will be a trend like the high waist jeans for women that just doesn't catch on to everyone...or if it will surprise us and take over the sagging trend:)  I decided to blog about this because I saw that New York Magazine had an article dedicated solely to this trend...we shall see how this catches on.

Spring is Slowly Approaching The Short Story

*image from the Net-a-Porter Magazine
I so wish I had the legs for shorts...I think that the combo of shorts and pumps is so sexy, and yet I just can't get my legs to do it...so, for those of you who can, enjoy for me.
Here are some looks from the street provided by none other than  the infamous Sartorialist.    http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com

Now this is way too short for me...but, I love the look with a billowy top. Maybe I could do this length if I start working out really hard right now with a nice fitted top to show that I have a good proportion at least;)  We shall see...
