How Can You Say No?

Natasha Singer, a writer for the New York Times shared an article about being a "Recessionista."  Something, which I think has always been essential, but that is what I call, being a bargain shopper.  It may sound tacky, but I will hold off on buying something right away if I don't think that others will be flocking to purchase the same item and most of the time I am right...for instance, the Botkier for Target mini bags are now on sale for $4.99!  How can you say no to that!?  I now have my first ever Botkier bag and it didn't cost a thing!  Now, the Anya Hindmarch bags that I was holding off for seem to be gone, but they are still online and I am going to search the many Targets in the area to see if they are still out there so I can wait for a sale:)
Another idea which I have used before...I was speaking to a customer about my dream of one day having a pair of Tod's shoes and she said that she had purchased many pairs about 2 years ago because she found her size at an outlet for only $25 each!!!!!!  So, I have now decided to call every outlet in the U.S. to see if there are any good deals...crazy, yes...but, most likely it works.  I found a Tucker by Gaby Basora dress for only $75 calling every Barney's during the end of season sale...I didn't have to pay $300 or more for the dress and it didn't take all that long to google a number and just call.  How far will go for a good deal?

I Have Been Eyeing These Things Recently...Things You Can Wear For Spring and Fall

The best jean ever!  The trouser-cut jean...looks good on every-body!

I think that ruffle blouses have a flair to them for any season...I was checking out a ruffle tank at Buffalo the other day and really wanted to get it...it's all about dramatic ruffling details on a blouse...you can't just have one ruffle.

I remember when I wore pointy toe flats in college about 6 years ago and people thought I looked like a witch:)  I still wore them of course...I rocked them not even caring...well, now, I still love pointy toe flats and I think they looks so chic with pencil trousers and a cute little cardigan for the fall, or do the same for now and just wear a pair of shorts and a tank.  These Missoni flats are only $315 on sale...ok, not ONLY...but, they are on sale:)  I love wearing funky style flats for fun!

We can dream of the Botkier bag for real designer pieces that will last for almost ever...or we can get the Target bag...which I haven't seemed to be able to find the one I really want...so, for right now I am going to keep on dreaming of the real thing.  I am LOVING tassells and fringe for fall...so this bag is perfect for fall.

Mark Your Calendars for July 21st To Stand in Line for Botkier for Target!

This style has the shape of the Gucci bag that I want, the leather tassel that I love from Chanel bags and my fave color...this is my dream bag for all seasons...it is a fun color for summer and I can pair this with browns, bronzes and blacks to make it just right for fall/winter!
Kind of like the doctor bag, this looks like it can hold anything---and of course the tassel:)
I really like the black python style.
This is the bag from the ad for the August Lucky issue.

My jaw dropped when I opened the first page of the August Lucky and saw that Botkier would be at Target!  I was soo excited!  I have to have a couple of the styles...I was lucky and got the Gryson bag for only $11!  But, I don't think I can wait for this one...this is such a dream come true...I have wanted a Botkier for ages and now, I can get one at a price of $59.99 or less---how can you say no?  So, mark your calendars ladies!
