Double the Fun: Olsen Twins

These fashionistas might insist that they are 2 different people, but---in fashion----their 2 minds are much greater than 1....I still remember their line @ Wal-Mart...back then, of course...I didn't buy anything because it was aimed @ their then audience---little girls ranging from 2-10ish...Today, they have expanded to the elite fashion industry...they aren't like other celeb designers like J L0, Lauren Conrad, or Kimora...they take the back seat and do the instructing without necessarily placing their name on everything.  And the result is high fashion that reflects their personal style that we all LOVE!  (Well, most of us)  I love it!  I just hope they can take the line to a more accessible price point like they started off with.  Until then, you can find deals for their lines, The Row and Elizabeth & James (names after their siblings) on Shop Style, Outnet, and Shop It To Me.
The ladies coffee table book, "Influence," which I found to be a great way to find out what inspires these fashionista's and a way to be inspired by all of the industry insiders that the Olsen's interviewed.  The book reminds me of a collage of all of their ideas and thoughts...kind of like an inspiration board.  I have 1 signed copy to give away to the person who share who INFLUENCES their style in a comment below.

Complete ANY Look This Season With a Jacket

It looks like even though we will start getting into the warmer weather of spring and then summer, the jacket trend has emerged.  You would usually think that jackets/blazers would emerge with full force for the fall and winter...but, this is a fun trend that I think can be worn the entire year.
This week, Who What Wear Daily and Net-a-Porter NOTES have showcased this trend for fashionistas to be inspired and know where to find the seasons MUST-HAVE:)
I have a jacket and a dress that I can use to remake this look...I just need to edge of the jacket like this...I just love the way they paired this jacket with a print dress...adds some edge to what would usually be styled in a preppy look.I love how the broach on the jacket sets up the entire look. This season I am all about these color combinations.

CUTE...Skirts are still a must for me

I know that magazines usually decide that it is either trendy to wear a skirt or a dress and one or the other dominates during a season...well, I just love both!  I wear it all, but skirts and dresses seem to catch my eye more.  Recently I was watching a segment from Who What Wear Daily and fell in love with a Tutu skirt by YaYa one of the hosts was wearing, so I had to share of course...I can't afford the skirt right now, but, for those who can, check it out:)

All Bandaged Up

Who What Wear Daily shares How They Wear Bandage Skirts (they=celebs, of course). I found a great Bandage Halter Dress by Herve Leger for $1,480...something to be inspired by of course:) It's nice to see the connection though.
