CopyCat at Target and ALDO

The shoe that started this all---I saw a lady at an Indian restaurant wearing these shoes that were GORGEOUS and by Indian designer, Rohit Bal....I couldn't find them anywhere and was going to give up until I saw a spitting image of the shoe at Target.  Then, came the comparison story below:)

I went to Target last night and was AMAZED by how many shoes look like the (original) styles from Stems a Shoe Boutique...it is CRAZY how so many brands like Target shoe brands, ALDO and Steve Madden create styles that are similar to others...except for the 8 changes needed to ensure that the company will not be sued...in this economy it is nice to have styles at an accessible price, and yes, I do wish that styles like the L.A.M.B. I dream of was somewhere out there...but, where does one draw the line???

Shoe News: Insider Info...Did You Know

Sometimes it seems we miss the insider info when we fall in love with shoes...something interesting to note, do you L-O-V-E the Pour la Victoire line that is now sold at Urban Outfitters (I do, I own 3 pairs!)...well, apparently the previous designer of MY LOVE---Sam Edelman started this brand after leaving SE....interesting how the shoes we love just seem to flow together...that is the shoe industry for you:)

Doesn't it just sound fab anyway?  I have the Brie and the Dominique already and I have today fallen in LOVE with the Noelle.  I know, I said no more gladiators, but this is a different interpretation, with the quilted style (like Chanel) it is a bit more chic and timeless:) Ok, I am selling it to myself, oh well:)  (The rep came to my job to share Fall styles---the most fun meeting to attend ever!)  These shoes can be purchased on Revolve Clothing's Website...also, you can buy Pour la Victoire at Stems and Shopbop.
