Have you seen the extended trailer for SATC2? Now, here's what you need to celebrate May 28th!

I am counting down the days till Sex and the City the movie 2 is out! There is so much buzz about the movie, but I had to share options for ladies that want to celebrate the day in SATC style! Here are some designers that are sharing coveted items from the movie:

Patricia Fields~I know there is more to come!!! Can't wait to see!
For right now, you can get on the "waiting list" for the "Lucky Me" Clover Necklace that costs $56 to $72...not bad!
Dogearded~already love their meaningful pieces! Now, it gets even better!
I am so excited that one of my fave accessory lines is coming out with pieces to wear on the BIG day:) Here are a few I like...they will be available on April 13th to buy...so get ready! Prices will range from $55-$200. STAY TUNED--fun promos to come!

This one is very appropriate for SATC...I think anyone who sees this will know what you are representing:)
I love the lucky charm that seems to be a new theme for part 2...I think this is the one I will be wearing:)

Cosabella~my favorite lingerie line EVER!:)
Get lingerie inspired by the girls of SATC...and since the lingerie look is in this year...maybe wear a fancy bra popping out of your classic, Charlotte cardigan:)
...or, wear one of the camis as a top...very right now...just layer with a fancy bra under or a tank if you aren't as risque as Samantha;)

*These are on sale now!!!

***I don't want to leave out the HBO promo items for SATC2!!! There's a lot to choose from!

Fall Belt-It

The new way to wear a skinny belt: double up!  I LOVE the idea!  Use some from Forever and get a great affect.  Use one plain style belt and one with a great color or hardware detail.
Just because...I saw someone wearing the AMAZING studded belt that SJP was wearing a couple of times in the movie yesterday and about went crazy!  When she told me it was sold for $195 at about 40 boutiques in the U.S. and are basically on pre-order only because so many people want it...I was like, there goes that belt...but, there is hope...which I am surprised I
didn't realize before...Patricia Field sells the belt on her site for $120!  Sounds like a perfect Christmas gift!  Like Pat (Patricia Field) says on the extended version of the SATC movie that I just got today (hahaha I bought the wrong version the first copy I bought) she chose pieces that would be timeless, and if someone watched the movie 20 years later, they could still relate to the clothing.  I can see this belt lasting in my wardrobe for a very long time!

Hair Styling

As soon as I saw the second episode of Project Runway and started researching all of the images from Project Runway and what Kenley was wearing on her head...I remembered a site called, Love, Lulu Mae...a place where you can find all of the vintage inspired head designs that are the chic originators of this trend.  I can't remember all of the places that I have seen this trend recently...mostly in magazines, but I do recall SJP being styled by Patricia Fields in the Sex and the City movie with a piece on her wedding day, and then SJP wore the head dress that everyone was talking about at the premiere...well, for anyone who is as excited as me about the head accessories, the designer of Love, Lulu Mae is designing a piece exclusively for Fashionalities readers...so, send an email to fashionalities@gmail.com telling us where you will wear this fabulous accessory if you win.
Good luck!

The Bag To Carry for the SATC movie!

I just found out about this tote a couple of days ago...I might just be out of the loop, but I figured I would share the find with everyone:)  The tote is actually carried in the movie by Carrie Bradshaw (AKA SJP)...I think it is a fabulous way to celebrate the movie!  Plus, wearing a pair of sassy shoes...there are contests going on everywhere to giveaway a pair of shoes for the fashionista day...so, check out the local shoe boutiques in your area!

Fashionalities Sidenote

During my new favorite show, Ultimate Style on the Style Network (hosted by Daisy Fuentes, I remember her fashion show on MTV back in the day:), I found out that Eric, the stylist for Gossip Girl was Patricia Field's assistant for styling Sex and the City. No wonder---that is our connection:) Fashion comes full circle.

New York Fashionalities

Sex and the City=Gossip Girl

A new show, Gossip Girl on the new CW has brought back the weekly fashion indulgences from New York that we have all been longing for since the loss of Sex and the City on HBO (even though there is a movie to come...we still need our weekly fashion fun)...it's a different era of style with Gossip Girl, but, the same risks are being made...it may not be Patricia Fields doing the costume designing and Gossip Girl hasn't helped a designer just yet like Sex and the City did for Manolo or many others...but, great fashion times are to come...Enjoy!
