Found: The high waist bikini Ashley Green is sporting at the resort in Mexico

I saw a post on Who What Wear on what to wear on vacation and fell in LOVE with the high waist bikini Ashley Greene was rocking.  Found out the designer is Prism from England.  They have a TON of great styles to choose from.  But, I have my eye on this style.

Here is the bikini she was wearing:

They come in a few colors and you can choose from a variety of bikini tops.  The bottom is 62 pounds.

*Update: To make it a little easier to purchase.  I found out that Saks carries the swimsuit!  It's about $100 for the bottom and $200 for the top...

Kate Moss was also recently spotted wearing Prism's swimwear:

Plus, the look for less from American Apparel:

They have a selection of 7 styles from $18-28 each.

My Obsession with Turbans continues and here are some DIY tips

I met a fab fashion blogger for  be vainglorious or D.I.Y. trying.  She did a piece for My Style to see how she would style a Turban and she shared the easiest apparoach I a have seen that got me excited to do it.  I went searching all over for the cotton headbands and only found nylon...which I am wondering when that trend began...And then, I finally found what I was looking for at American Apparel and it was the most affordable item they sold:)  (P.S. there are sales in the store ranging from 20-50% off.  I asked what the sale was for and they said it was the overstock items.  It is all of the stuff most people wouldn't wear...my maxi chiffon dress is still $58:)

The cotton headbands are only $4.00

I can't wait to rock the print style!  I bought a small black band because I already had a larger balck one from years ago that I bought at H&M.  I can't wait to see how long that looks.  Then, you can see I have the nylon turban I got from a hair store and I just added a vintage brooch.

How I was inspired by Net-a-Porter's Travel selections to create my travel look

My look is the one on the left. I saw it and it screamed moi:) But, I of course had to create with what I had at home:) So, here's what I did:
Pants: American Apparel Harem Leggings
Poncho: Walmart Poncho-I didn't see anymore like this today at the store...
What I added: a gray tank-from Forever 21, Racer Back...
The comfy Ballet flats: Me Too's from Stems a Shoe Boutique
The Bag: Isaac Mizrahi for Liz Claiborne, I got it when prices dropped. So worth the cash. I have to make sure I can carry my mags on the flight:)
The funky scarf: I got lucky! I am an Alpha Shopper for LUCKY magazine and I was sent a LOFT Ann Taylor package to review and it included an AMAZING new scarf!:)
Travel Extra: I just found a new great site that helps travelers with carrying their must-have beauty items that won't get you in trouble for carrying on, the site is called, 3FLOZ and it's genius! Check it out!:)

What I've Been Wearing

I keep getting stopped about these fab bangles I got at ALDO (which I haven't been to in forever--once again because I have only been shopping at Stems:)....sadly, they aren't online...but, I have a pic attached...and, I found so many wonderful pieces of jewelry that I had to share!

For Christmas, my mom bought me a piece from American Apparel that can be worn a billion ways and that I would recommend playing with a cotton maxi dress or a short cotton dress...the piece makes a casual ensemble look rather snazzy.  I would also pair this with leggings, and a tunic style tank.

The Dress...No Fuss...No Muss

Yesterday, I saw a fashionista friend wearing a dress that seemed to hit her body perfect and I was like I need that!  It was simple--like a racer back tank, but paired with her Missoni scarf and fab jacket it was perfect!  I decided that I needed to have it...When she told me that the dress was from American Apparel my jaw dropped.  Not that I didn't think the store had anything fab...but, it just looked perfectly understated.  And for $26 how can you say no!?  Plus, of course...while I was surfing the site for the dress to confirm the price, I found a couple of other dresses that I had to share with you all:)  I think this is a great option for buying people Christmas gifts...the prices are perfect and who doesn't need something cotton in their wardrobe that is made in the U.S.?:)I love the color of this...purple is the color for fall you know...and it looks so vintage, right...Basic, but sleek...I wonder if this is too short though....I can't do too high above the knee:)I can't decide if this looks too much like I am about to go ice skating, or if I am dressed up for Halloween, but, I still love this look!
