Easy updates with No nonsense leggings and tights

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I just had my twins and I'm still transitioning back to my pre-preggers wardrobe so having colorful tights or a classic legging is perfect for me.  They are inexpensive additions to my wardrobe plus, I can use them after I'm back to my pre-preggers weight.  The other good thing is I can buy No nonsense tights and leggings at stores that I'm shopping at for my groceries which is helpful since I'm a new mommy and can't be out and about all the time.  Plus, the items are made here in the USA!  Now that's something you don't see a lot of these days so it's cool when a brand can say they do.

For this project, I received a pair of fishnet stockings and cord leggings.  I didn't want the fishnet stockings to be too sexy...but, who can avoid the allure of a fishnet???:)  I decided to pair them with an Indian kurta and super high heels.  I thought the combo was boho with a twist.  But, I feel like I could keep the tights understated if I paired it with a classic black dress and ankle boots too...I just wanted to have some fun for this:)  I was really excited about the cord leggings because they were unexpected.  When I think of leggings they are usually a jegging style or a basic legging in a ton of colors.  The different texture made them fun to work with.  I like the idea of them being casual so paired them with a boho top, classic trench and some animal print flats.

The brand is partnering with Jill Martin who is always featured on the Today Show showcasing fashion trends and great deals and is also the co-author of "I Have Nothing to Wear!"  Watch out for great styling tips from Jill on how to wear the leggings and tights from the fall collection on twitter and facebook.

I'm all about following brands on their social media outlets to find out about exclusive giveaways and promotions.  Check out following No nonsense on Facebook and twitter for these great deals.

Weekend fun: DIY Project from Glitter n' Glue

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this idea and have to do it ASAP!

Chic Miu Miu cat eye shades at Sunglasses Shop

I've always adored cat eye sunglasses and I'm now loving the dramatic size of the frames that is happening right now.  Shades are always a fun way to add drama and designer to your look.  Spend around $100-200 on shades and look the part.  As you can see these sunglasses can be styled a ton of ways and just look chic on everyone.  They are a statement piece that elevate any look.  I am partial to the tortoise shell as you can tell...but, I think the glitter is also a lot of fun!  Check out the variety of Miu Miu statement style sunglasses that the Sunglasses Shop has to offer here.

Shopping at ModDeals by fashionalities featuring tribal jewelry

I was approached on twitter by the brand, ModDeals and checked out the site to see what it was all about and was pleased with the selection.  I mean, who doesn't like a great deal?  We all know about Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe...but, I say a bargain shop is like a thrift store.  Great prices and the thrill of searching for those hidden gems.  ModDeals has a ton of ethnic inspired items at prices below $20!  Plus, new shoppers get 3% off and shipping (although I prefer free:) is ONLY $2.99!  I'm excited to share that my readers are going to be able to get 10% off their first purchase on these already great deals!  Use Coupon Code: fashionalities10 until 10/31.  And if it doesn't get better than a coupon code, the site is having a sale where hundreds of items are up to 40% off!  It feels like they are giving things away!!:)  Enjoy!

Guest Post: 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim: Swimwear Trend Report

This guest post was written by Susan Bodack, a blogger at Beauty and the Beach—the swimwear and fashion blog by InStyleSwimwear.com. Check them out today for a peek at the season’s hottest swim styles!

Although summer is officially over, I’ve still got swimwear on the brain!  Pretty much
everything is on sale at InStyleSwimwear.com and I’m still coming down from my
Fashion Week high.  Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, the biggest tradeshow for the
designer swimwear industry, took place a little over a month ago.  From our jam-packed
appointment schedule and sitting front row at the hottest fashion shows, I definitely
noticed some key 2013 swimwear trends.  Whether you’re a fashion-forward trendsetter
or simply a resortwear-loving gal, this trend report will help you get prepared.

Fringe

If you thought fringe swimwear was hot last season, you haven’t seen anything yet!
Seemingly every designer that we saw has created at least one fringe swimwear style for
the 2013 season.  Whether you’re into prints, solids, triangle tops or bandeaus, you’ll
have plenty of fun fringe styles to choose from.

Bustiers and Bralettes

As I’m sure you noticed, crop tops were huge this season and swimwear designers
definitely took note.  For 2013, expect to see a ton of bustier and bralette-style swimsuit
tops that can be worn in the water, while sunbathing, paired with cutest maxi skirts or
your favorite pair of shorts!

Mismatching Solids

Without a doubt, swimwear designers from all around the world were inspired by
last season’s bold and sporty-chic color-block trend, and for 2013, they’ve decided to
continue their fixation for brights.  This season, everyone’s mixing and matching bikini
separates in mismatched, contrasting solids.  The look is bold, bright and somehow… it
just works!

Pastel Swimwear

Get ready to say buh-bye to neons because pastels are having a major moment right
now!  Although I did see my fair share of brights, a number of swimwear collections also
featured perfect pastel hues that are sure to look amazing on any and every skin tone.
Expect to see tons of mint green, pale yellow, soft apricot and rosy blushes.

Global Prints

Finally, just as designers come from all around the world, this season’s prints are getting
a global makeover!  “Ethnic prints” are going to be huge for the 2013 swimwear season
and regardless of where the inspiration came from, you can count on them being bold and
boho-chic.  Think Navajo-inspired prints from North America’s Southwest, Aztec and
Incan-inspired printed motifs from Latin America and more.

Which swimwear trend is your favorite?

Last Day to enter the Land's End Canvas Pinterest Challenge

*Just so everyone knows...I just had my twins 3 days before I took the pic so just imagine how it will look when I am back to pre-preg shape:)

Great deal: Get 25% OFF all knits until Tuesday!  Just had to share that:)

I was excited when I was approached to participate in a giveaway that Land's End Canvas was doing this week!  I was able to choose the pieces I wanted to style with the cute chinos you see below.  I decided I had to have a pair of vibrant color chinos.  I already have a ton of items to pair it with and they are great for the entire year!  The scarf is another item I will be able to wear all year long.  It's a large scarf so I'll be able to play with how I style it as well.  The sweater I bought large because I think everyone needs a large comfy sweater to wear during the winter a' la' Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen.

*Jean shirt, is the hubbies...I just had the twins on Monday so I had to make sure things worked:)
*The slouchy sweater from Land's End Canvas that I plan on rocking FOREVER!  LOVE the color!
*The lovely scarf that can be worn all year long!
*What it's all about, the vibrant kelly green chino's.  These are the statement piece!  Love how these true slim chino's can be dressed up or down.  I'm going to be able to wear these so many ways!  Plus, they are a great length for a mommy on the go:)  I've got 3 kids to keep up with now:)  Gotta keep it stylin' still:)

*Old J. Crew grommet belt

A fall must-have: The FRAAS infinity scarf

I was sent this scarf recently and am so ready to rock it this fall!  Here is the inspiration I found:

Inspiration:

I will be sharing a picture once I actually wear it...but, since I live in Arizona we are still on summer weather.
I can also see this scarf pairing nicely with a shirt dress.  My scarf is the tan and ivory scarf so I plan on pairing it with a khaki shirt dress.  This scarf is going to be worn over and over!
Besides wearing the infinity scarf wrapped twice around the neck.  I also like putting half around the neck and the other half over the head.  It just looks so retro and chic.  Plus, keeps the ears warm:)

Shopping at Old Navy

I have a list of must-haves from Old Navy so I thought I'd share a few things I'm considering.  The ballet flats are a MUST!  Every season I find the styles I have to have and I'm excited to see the paisley print (which reminds me of something I'd find at J. Crew) and the tortoise print that looks like something I was eyeing by Stuart Weitzman.  Also, every year Old Navy has a great cargo vest and jacket you need to nab...so check out the options:)
